Nicole Richie is known for her boho chic look and bringing back the 70s with a modern twist. The gorgeous mother-of-two can now add clothing designer to her list. This spring, Nicole has launched her latest clothing line Winter Kate at Nordstrom (she also designs the amazing House of Harlow jewelry line). We had the chance to talk with her about her latest collection!
FACTIO MAGAZINE: How would you describe your style?
Nicole Richie: I really dress for comfort—anything from baggy jeans to maxi dresses. Free flowing clothes, anything that’s comfortable for me.
FM: Describe your new collection Winter Kate.
NR: Winter Kate is a reflection of my style, comfortable clothing. We used a lot of georgette and chiffon and I wanted the clothes to be easy to wear, and feel good, but also have a great sense of style.
FM: What designers inspire you?
NR: I have a lot of respect for all designers and all the work they put into creating their collection. I’ve always loved the work of Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander McQueen. As creative director and designer of my lines, I see how much work goes into creating a collection, and feel all designers should be admired and respected.
