Nicole Richie will star in upcoming Fox comedy pilot ‘Richard Lovely’, from the executive producer of ‘Grace and Frankie’. She will play Kelli, the publicist of the title character who is a disgruntled children’s author.

“Kelli is a high-functioning millennial who is Richard’s opposite in every way but one: They both like to keep their eyes on number one — themselves. The role was initially planned as recurring should Richard Lovely go to series, but after a table read, the show’s producers decided to make it a series regular.”

Nicole Richie attends premiere of HBO’s ‘Camping’ (October 10)

Nicole Richie attended the premiere of HBO’s ‘Camping’ series on October 10th at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. In May 2018, it was reported that she had joined the cast along with Busy Philipps. Their roles are currently unknown but are assumed to be guest appearances.

Camping will premiere on October 14th at 10pm on HBO. Below is the show’s summary, but click here to view the trailer (which does not feature Nicole).

Camping stars Jennifer Garner and David Tennant as Kathryn and Walt, a not-so-happily married couple. A meticulously planned outdoor trip to celebrate Walt’s 45th birthday is derailed by uninvited guests and forces of nature, turning the weekend into a test of marriage and friendships.

After two seasons, NBC has unfortunately decided to cancel Tracey Wigfield and Tina Fey produced sitcom ‘Great News’. The series starred Briga Heelan and Andrea Martin, with Nicole Richie co-starring as news anchor Porta Scott-Griffith.

Nicole Richie to guest star in ‘Grace and Frankie’

According to ET Online, Nicole Richie will guest star in Netflix’s ‘Grace and Frankie’ which stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. The show is to return in 2019 with its fifth season.

Nicole Richie will guest star on a season five episode of the Netflix comedy series, ET has learned exclusively. Richie will play Kareena G, a sweet but oh-so-entitled pop star who unexpectedly finds herself in Grace and Frankie’s lives.

Grace and Frankie stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as the titular heroines, whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) reveal they are gay and subsequently leave their wives for each other.

Grace and Frankie costume designer Allyson Fanger told ET at the Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday that Richie’s character is a little outside the box. “I had to do a little far reaching, because it’s an interesting character. It’s a little anime-ish, but she can carry it! She can do anything,” Fanger shared. “At the table read, she was so funny. She really flowed so well with the cast.”

Richie is the latest notable guest star to board the upcoming season, joining the recently announced RuPaul, who will play Benjamin Le Day, a formidable and quick-witted adversary who faces off with Grace and Frankie. Previous guest stars have included Lisa Kudrow, Peter Gallagher, Rita Moreno, Wendie Malick, Carrie Preston and Christine Lahti.

The 36-year-old actress and fashionista has been finding her comedy niche as of late. Richie currently stars on Tina Fey’s cable news comedy, Great News, as the delightfully vapid co-host of the fictional news program, The Breakdown.
