Nicole Richie and Cleo Wade hosted their 2nd Annual Virgo Fest on September 11th. Paris Hilton, Carlos Lopez, Kelly Sawyer, Sofia Richie Grainge, Rachel Zoe, Jamie Mizrahi, Katherine Power, Simone Harouche, Sophia Rossi, Phillip Picardi, Aaron and Lauren Paul, and Liat Baruch were in attendance.
On May 30th, Nicole Richie attended an event celebrating love and kicking off Pride Month, which was hosted by Carlos Eric Lopez, Kevin Huvan, and the Creative Artist Agency team in Los Angeles. It was sponspored by DON JULIO Tequila. Nicole was photographed with Carlos, Sophia Rossi, Simone Harouche, Jamie Mizrahi, Liat Baruch, Kelly Sawyer, and more.
On November 1st, Nicole Richie attended Carlos Eric Lopez’s third annual Día de Muertos Celebration at Hollywood Forever, where Mexican dishes are served and people partake in home altars and prayer to remember the dead. Nicole shared a photo with her friends, with the message: “We are celebrating you Hilly. Happy 40th Birthday. We love you. We miss you.” This is in honour of their late friends Hilary Tisch who sadly passed away in 2020.

Nicole Richie knows so many Virgos. Plus she’s one herself. With that in mind, Nicole and her friend Cleo Wade decided to host their 1st Annual Virgo Festival, which took place on September 14th. There were some professional photos shot by Jordan Kelsey Knight, one of which features Joel looking like a whole mood. He said, “What can I say it was late and I was tired 😮.” Sofia and her friends came up with the idea for the hilarious t-shirts… check them out in the gallery!
On August 16th, Nicole Richie, under House of Harlow, hosted a book swap dinner under Kat Collings from Who What Wear. The event was held at Saffy’s Middle-Eastern restaurant in Los Angeles. Some of the guests included Jedidiah Jenkins (who introduced the event), Carlos Eric Lopez, Jamie Mizrahi, Sophia Rossi, Simone Harouche, Cloe Wade, Liat Baruch, and Lauren Paul. Guests were encouraged to bring books, write notes about them, and place them on a table that worked as a functional library where people could choose a book to take. There were also bookmarks and House of Harlow tote bags, among other goodies available.

Nicole Richie also shared that she designed the bespoke House of Harlow 1960 diamond earrings that Sofia wore for her wedding. Afterward, guests gathered for cocktails, dinner, and speeches, with the bride’s sister Nicole emceeing the entire evening. “It was hysterical,” Sofia says. “It was filled with comedy. My dad, Elliot’s dad, and Elliot’s best friend, Jack, gave incredible speeches. It was very sweet—truly unbelievable!”
The after-party, which had a nightclub-inspired vibe, featured a performance from Good Charlotte, who both Sofia and Elliot grew up listening to. “I did, obviously, because they’re family,” she notes, referring to Nicole’s husband, the band’s lead vocalist Joel Madden. “Elliot was such a big Good Charlotte fan when he was a kid, and Joel and Elliot have become like brothers. Anyway, they haven’t performed in, like, five years, and they brought their band out from Nashville and LA, and it was one of the most fun nights of my life. They are true rock stars. Between my dad and Good Charlotte, it was unbelievable. And most importantly, it really felt like family, which is exactly how we wanted the wedding to feel.”
