Yesterday, April 2nd, Nicole Richie attended the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead,’ in which she stars in. Nicole’s family were out to support her, including Brenda Harvey, Lionel Richie and his girlfriend Lisa Parigi, Joel Madden, and also children Harlow and Sparrow in their red carpet debut. The film will be exclusively in cinemas on April 12th in the US, and will stream on BET+ at a later date.
Nicole spoke to ET at the premiere about the film and about Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz’s new son, Cardinal Madden.
When asked whether Benji spoke to Joel about choosing a bird name for his son, Nicole tells ET, “I didn’t ask, but I really don’t think they did. I think it’s just a twin thing, who knows.”
Nicole adds that “everyone’s amazing,” amidst the new addition.
“It was a surprise to all of us. We’re all very happy though,” Joel tells ET. Cardinal joins big sister, Raddix Madden, 4.
At Tuesday’s premiere, Joel adds that he’s “very proud” of Nicole’s turn as Rose in the remake of the 1991 comedy starring Joanna Cassidy in the same role.“First of all, I’m a diehard of the original,” Nicole tells ET. “This is truly who I am in my soul without ever thinking I would get the opportunity to play Rose. So when this came my way, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is too good to be true.'”
Nicole and Joel walked the red carpet with their kids Harlow and Sparrow, and Nicole says that her R-rated comedy is in fact a movie for the whole family.
“The movie is rated R, but it really is a family movie,” she insists.
I’m finding it a bit harder lately to decide where to put photos. Should I continue to put photos taken by stylists and hairdressers before events in the event albums? or should I try separating them like I’ve done here by putting them in photoshoots? I know they’re not actually photoshoots. I don’t know whether I should keep event photos as purely that or continue to put everything that relates in there. Let me know what you’d prefer!
