On October 24th of this year, Nicole herself replied to me on my personal twitter account, and I was so excited and in shock that I actually cried. It may sound silly, but Nicole is someone I’ve looked up to for years and years. It meant, and still means, so much to me and I admire her even more for that! You can read what was said below:

According to PerezHilton.com, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are set to get married on December 5th of this year in Beverly Hills. The wedding is said to be at Lionel’s home in front of 100 guests. However, Shelby Loosch of Globe says that the pair are to be wedded at the home of Benny Medina instead, before over 150 guests including Jessica Alba, Tobey Maguire and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Whichever be true, congrats to Nicole and Joel; they deserve all of the best. I’m sure that Joel will look handsome in his suit, Harlow and Sparrow will look adorable and there’s no doubt that Nicole will look absolutely stunning. Let’s hope Nicole will post some photos on her site! I’m almost as excited as she is for her special day!

Lionel Richie won’t be singing at the event. Madden wanted him to but Nicole did not. Instead, Nicole Richie will have her good friend and newly single Christina Aguilera sing at the wedding.
