Nicole Richie has a supporting role in an upcoming comedy film titled ‘Summer Camp.’ The film, written and directed by Castille Landon, stars Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, and Alfre Woodard as three close friends who have known each other since childhood, spending every summer vacation together at a sleepaway camp. As they have aged, their opportunities to spend time together have dwindled and so they jump at the chance to return to summer camp for a reunion.
Nicole will play a supporting character called Sage. Other supporting actors include , Beverly D’Angelo, Josh Peck, and Eugene Levy. Filming began in North Carolina in April 2023 and wrapped in late May, taking place primarily at Camp Pinnacle and Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville. The film entered post-production last month and will hopefully be released in 2024.
