Nicole Richie has been speaking out about whether or not she’d ever reunite with Paris Hilton for ‘The Simple Life’, and the answer may just surprise you.

During an interview with SiriusXM radio, Richie admitted that there could still be hope for fans who want to see a ‘The Simple Life’ reunion.

In a pretty surprising analogy, after being quizzed on whether on not she’d team up with Hilton again, the ‘Candidly Nicole’ star told the radio show, “Justin Bieber has taught me many things, and I will quote him. ‘Never say never.’” Hmmm…

The reality show, which began back in 2003, saw Richie and Hilton travel across the US trying their hands at a number of manual labour, low-paid jobs. Though they seemed pretty tight during filming, the duo fell out in a pretty major way shortly after the fourth season, resulting in Hilton issuing a statement that read; “It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends… Nicole knows what she did, and that’s all I’m ever going to say about it.”

But it seemed like the past was behind them back in July when Andy Cohen quizzed the fashion designer on their relationship during a ‘Watch What Happens Live!’ appearance.

When Cohen asked the mum of two when she last spoke to the socialite, Richie responded; “Paris is somebody that’s been in my life since day one. I haven’t spoken to her in a while technically, but, if you really want to get into it, my view of a friendship is someone that you don’t necessarily have to talk to you every day”.

She went on to reveal that although she may not have spoken to the heiress recently, the pair are still very good friends. “I have a lot of respect for her,” she said.
