Nicole Richie and Joel Madden got married yesterday; Saturday, December 11th. They reportedly wed in front of 130 guests at Lionel Richie’s Hollywood mansion, which underwent some construction to make the event just what the couple wanted!
Among the guests, close friends Gwen Stefani, Kris Jenner, and Samantha Ronson (who was also a bridesmaid) attended. Nicole’s maid of honor was rumored to be her BFF Masha Gordon, while Joel’s best man was his twin Benji Madden.
It’s no secret that Nicole wore a custom made, $20,000 Marchesa gown, and famed jeweler Neil Lane, who also crafted Richie’s 4-carat engagement ring, designed their rings.
x17 were outside as the guests started to arrive, but the strangest guest there was surely an elephant! Yes, an elephant! Nicole and Joel are sure an entertaining couple; I wonder what it’s role was! Entertainment? Did Nicole ride on it down the aisle? Well, hopefully we’ll find out soon!
