Nicole Richie talks about when she got her hair cut short. She says that her hairdresser and good friend, Andy Lecompte, chopped off her locks before she even decided what she wanted!
The socialite and mother of two admits she wasn’t entirely sold on her radical short hair do — until her stylist went scissor-happy.
“I actually was just in my hairdresser’s chair — he is a very good friend of mine — and I said, ‘I’m thinking of cutting my hair short. I need a trim right now but I’m definitely thinking I want to cut it all off,’” explains Nicole.
“Then I looked down at my phone, looked back up and my hair was gone. I said, ‘Andy! What did you do?’ He said, ‘You were going to call me 45 times about it and I just don’t have the time to take your manic phone calls so I did it and if you don’t like it, don’t worry, you can get extensions.’
“And he’s right. It’s fun, it’s just hair and it’s a different look. But lucky for him I like it!”
