Nicole Richie has joked she is “the best” at rapping.
The 30-year-old star was in a hip-hop act called Caution when she was younger and was convinced the group could make it in the music industry. Nicole recently took to her Twitter account to reveal her rap career is taking off and has now joked about her plans for a new career path.
“It is! Just wait and see,” Nicole told the latest issue of UK magazine Glamour when asked about her claims that her rap career is “on the rise”. “I’m the best! Actually, I cannot rhyme ‘cat’ without going to rhymezone.com. I’m so bad at it!”
Nicole is married to Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden. The couple have two children together – Harlow, four, and Sparrow, two – and Nicole loves having some quiet time to herself first thing each morning.
“When I wake up at 5.30am and it’s still dark outside,” she replied when asked about her favourite part of the day. “I love, love being alone. It helps me to be a better mom to my kids and a better person at work.”
Nicole is also known for her fascination with reality TV.
The star – who famously appeared alongside Paris Hilton in The Simple Life – looks forward to settling down in front of the TV and watching her favourite shows.
However, she claims Joel often interrupts her viewing.
“You know, Joel barely speaks all day, and then out of nowhere he has nine million things to say, only for 30 minutes, from 9pm to 9.30pm, when I’m watching Real Housewives,” she quipped.
